Olaf

Lea is a very knowledgeable and dedicated coach. I felt taken very seriously, inspired and in the best of hands! The positive effects and my newly gained self-confidence quickly spread to other areas of my life.

Katja

Lea helped me to digest my topics and to find answers to my questions in a very sensitive and inspiring way. Her repertoire of methods, her attention and positive energy seem inexhaustible. The coaching with her really helped me.

P. & M.

Although it was really a big overcoming for both of us, we felt like we were in really good hands with you. It felt amazing to finally let it all out and talk to someone about it [a sexual fantasy] . With someone who doesn't think...you're abnormal!

Anne

I immediately felt safe and seen. She was able to support me competently and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to work on intimacy with their partner.

Client Testimonials

"My wife and I both work and have a young son. We were so busy that sex took a back seat. Especially for my wife, sex was no longer an issue. I was worried that we'd eventually become one of those couples who stopped having sex altogether. I would have found that terrible. At the same time, I didn't want to put any pressure on her. You can get away from this rigid, penetrative sex—in, out, and done. We've learned a lot about tools and options, tutorials, and studies. There's a ton of stuff the average person doesn't even know about that brings a lot of flexibility to your sex life."

"Just a year ago, I was super uptight. I had this age-old notion that the man had to initiate sex. The woman wasn't allowed to feel desire—and certainly wasn't allowed to show it openly. When I did feel desire, I felt like a slut. I viewed sex more as a duty. I wasn't really having fun. To put it bluntly, I was happy when he didn't touch me. I never used to dare to say what I liked and what bothered me in bed. I thought, 'Oh God, what will he think of me if I tell him that I love anal sex, that I like being submissive?' Coaching liberated me sexually. But it was a process. I had to get to know myself first."

WHAT DOES A CLINICAL SEXOLOGIST DO?

As a clinical sexologist (MBA, BSc Psychology), Lea Holzfurtner (she/her) is specialised in orgasm and libido problems and helps both couples and vulva owners. Lea works with evidence based, practical methods that address the areas where traditional couples or sex therapy doesn’t always succeed. Her sexpositive coaching is non-pathologizing, talk-based, shame-free and solution-oriented. Its suitable for anyone who wants more desire, clarity, and ease in their sex life.

WHEN IS SEX COACHING A BETTER FIT THAN SEX THERAPY?

Evidence based sex coaching is especially helpful if you

  • and your partners have had little or no sex for a long time

  • have problems experiencing orgasms (during sex with partners)

  • have lost your desire or have mismatched levels of desire

  • want to experience more intimacy and closeness again

  • feel stuck in stress, daily routines, or autopilot

  • want to discuss sensitive topics around desire, fantasies, or needs more easily with partners

  • prefer practical exercises instead of only talking

  • have no (untreated) psychological diagnosis

Evidence based sex coaching can replace or complement sex therapy when the challenges are primarily related to learning, habits, or communication- rather than traumatic or clinical in nature. It is a sexpositive, non-pathologizing and goal-oriented approach that creates a safe space for clients and promotes sexual wellness. You can learn more about what happens in a typical sexcoaching session here, take a 2min quiz to learn if sexcoaching is the right approach for you or listen to live sexcoaching sessions on Lea's podcast Berlin Intim.

WHAT ARE TYPICAL
CLIENT CASES?

  • I've never had an orgasm

  • I can orgasm when I am alone, but not during sex with partners

  • We hardly ever have sex anymore and want to change this

  • One of us desires sex more often - and we struggle with this

  • Sex feels like work

  • Sex is (sometimes) painful

  • I no longer desire sex, but I would love to again

  • We hardly talk about sex - and if we do it causes arguments

  • I feel sexually blocked or insecure

  • I would like to understand my sexuality, wants and fantasies

All of the above are not a sign of defect, but rather are due to false or missing information about Sex, or caused by feelings of stress, shame or performance pressure. This is exactly where evidence based sex coaching can help!

WHAT MAKES EVIDENCE BASED
SEX COACHING SO EFFECTIVE?

Lea is a clinical sexologist with an academic background in psychology and certified training in sexological methods. Her work is grounded in scientific models from sexual research, such as the Dual Control Model and Arousal Non-Concordance, sexological learning frameworks, classic exercises like Sensate Focus, and modern tools from communication psychology.

As an MBA, Lea works not only in a shame-free and empathetic way, but also with a clear and structured approach to coaching. After an in-depth assessment, which includes not only clinical screening but also exploring a client’s personal “sexual history”, Lea works together with clients to identify the obstacles standing in the way of their goals. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for sexual concerns. She collaborates with clients to develop an individual strategy and home exercises, while filling knowledge gaps around human sexuality, desire, and anatomy. Lea works according to the principles of clinical sexology and modern coaching ethics. Her practice is kink-informed and queer-informed. Lea’s coaching is fully talk-based (with no physical touch) and combines, among other things:

  • Psychoeducation: How desire works and how stress gets in the way

  • Desire Mapping: What turns you on individually and together

  • Intimacy exercises: Connection without performance pressure

  • Communication methods: How to talk about sex with confidence

  • Fantasy work: Learning to express desires

  • Structured homework: Body-based exercises, mirror work, reflection

  • Sex-positive rituals: Less pressure, more pleasure

The focus is always on experiencing, learning, understanding, and trying things out — not on “analyzing problems.”

CAMPAIGNS & ENGAGEMENT

We love to masturbate! Masturbation is a healthy form of self-care to boost your well-being. The most obvious ways to orgasm are to know your body, to masturbate and figure out what feels good, to learn how to communicate your needs to your partner, and to unearth and mentally reframe your negative beliefs and sex messages. When it comes to body awareness, there is no better way to reach this than through masturbation or solo play. So share this knowledge and wear it proud! Did you know that almost everyone masturbates? A TENGA study of 2018 found that...

...globally, 78% of adults masturbate.
